What we collect

When you finish the Release Check or ask for a release call, we collect the name and email you type, your answers (or booking notes), the result label, and basic tech details the form needs to run (for example a timestamp). We do not ask for a phone number on this site.

Why we collect it

To show your release plan, keep a copy you can find on drop week, send up to four short countdown emails from Chris, and reply if you book a call. We use the answers to match you to a plan and to talk about your release — not to sell your contact to anyone else.

Who gets it

Chris runs Cold Open Studio and reads the leads. The form also goes to our CRM (Airtable) so requests do not get lost. Hosting and email tools may process the same data as vendors. We do not sell your list.

Email and unsubscribe

Countdown emails come from Cold Open Studio / Chris. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we stop those sends. You can also email chris@coldopenstudio.com and ask us to delete your row.

How long we keep it

We keep a lead while it is useful for your release conversation, then remove or anonymize it when that work is done, unless we need a record of the request. Ask anytime and we will delete what we can.

Song-world sites for artists

Fan email or SMS collected on an artist’s song world belongs to that artist. Cold Open builds the form as a vendor and does not keep a copy of the fan list after handoff. Those sites have their own privacy line naming the artist as the sender.
